Applications for Training of Teachers on Promoting Media Literacy are now CLOSED
Applications for the FREE “Training of Teachers on Promoting Media Literacy” program, sponsored by the U.S. Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina through the Small Grants Program for U.S. Speakers and Specialists.
The program consists of a series of five one-day in-person training sessions led by an American media literacy expert. These sessions are planned for October 2024 in Sarajevo, Zenica, Mostar, Tuzla, and Banja Luka at American Corners.
The training includes:
Attending one of the workshops in October 2024.
Conducting a 90-120 minute lesson on media literacy for your students, with lesson plans and materials provided in both English and BHS.
Guiding students through practical media literacy activities within 1.5 months after the training.
The aim is to enhance media literacy, promote accuracy, and develop critical thinking skills among teachers, especially English teachers, across Bosnia and Herzegovina.
