Applications for the YES Program Are Now Open Until September 15!

High school students across Bosnia and Herzegovina now can apply for the Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study (YES) Program, a fully funded scholarship program that enables students to spend a semester in the United States. Applications are open until September 15.

The YES Program, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State and administered in Bosnia and Herzegovina by American Councils for International Education, provides participants with the chance to live with an American host family, attend a U.S. high school, develop leadership skills, and serve as cultural ambassadors for Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Since its launch in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2009, more than 220 Bosnian students have participated in the program and joined a growing network of YES alumni.

Eligible students are encouraged to learn more about the program requirements and submit their applications before the September 15 deadline.
